SSC has available for general use a PDF Sender, which will scan a document, through flatbed or document feeder, convert it to Acrobat Reader format (pdf) and send it to a designated email address. It is available for drop-in use. Please ask the front desk for instructions and questions. Directions are posted above the PDF Sender.

SSC has available for anyone with a Social Sciences Lab account a flatbed scanner which has a document feeder attachment. It is available for drop-in use. Using this scanner you may perform:

• Graphics scanning (and save to popular formats such as GIF and JPEG)
• Character Recognition using OmniPage Pro 12 (export to word processors such as MS Word and WordPerfect)
