Yesterday SSC's Barracuda 400 Spam Firewall encountered a
disk problem which requires a new Barracuda 400 to be installed. SSC received the new Barracuda 400 box this
morning and will be installing it this afternoon. There will be a short
intermittent mail delay while the new drives synchronize. SSC will keep the old box operational and
running in parallel with the new box for the next 22 days to ensure you do not
lose any quarantined mail. If you don't
clear out your existing quarantine you received two daily e-mail notifications,
one from the old system and one from the new system. When your quarantine is empty the old
barracuda 400 will drop out and the new barracuda 400 will take over and you
will receive only one e-mail notification per day.
