Problems w/ Sophos Virus Scanning on Mail Server
SSC is experiencing problems with Sophos Virus Scanning on our mail servers. As a result, there is a temporary delay in email delivery. We have resolved the issue. All queued messages have been delivered. Thank you for your patience.
SSC employs two virus scanning processes to protect our users from viruses and worms. The Sophos process was faulty after a recent automatic update. Our administrator has bypassed Sophos and switched over to Clam AV, our secondary process.
